tired but happy :)

I feel like there's so much going on right now with my school work. I had my advising appointment today and found out that I absolutely will graduate in Dec '09, Lord willing. This made me really happy because I know that I am getting closer to my dreams. Being in the classroom this semester is different than my experience last year because I am in the school for a longer period of time, and I can really see my passion of wanting to teach coming out. I enjoy the students so much, even when they are misbehaving, ;) and just to know that I can truly make a difference means so much. I can't imagine myself doing anything else, and although other people could not see themselves teaching, that's fine because it isn't meant for everybody, but I deeply believe that it is for me. I've just been so tired between going to the school, working, class, studying, and finding personal time for myself. I can't wait for this weekend! Lord knows I need a stress reliever. :)

Excited!

I am so excited, not only about my future, but about this blogging thing. I think that it will be exciting to see where it takes me and I feel that if I can always see my goals written down then it will make it easier for me to achieve. I was able to get into the Teacher Prep Program, which was the first big step, now I am in the process of getting my application together as well as references, so that I can apply for the grad program in the next few weeks. It's kind of crazy to think that I could possibly have my M.T. in December '09. It's also a little scary. I have a lot that I want to accomplish this year, in my personal life as well as academic wise. We'll see what happens.....
